Resume

Recent experience, current scope, and focus areas

Staff Software Engineer focused on full-stack product work across frontend architecture, APIs, and data systems. Works across the product surface and the application systems behind it, with enough range to ship features without making the stack harder to live with later.

A browser-readable version of my recent experience and current scope, with a profile-aware PDF for standard application workflows.

The current view is Full Stack.

Experience

Staff Software Engineer

KBRA

Feb 2024 - Present

  • Led cross-team work across KFI application architecture, shared UI foundations, and delivery systems that supported product work end to end.
  • Helped shape the long-term technical direction of a mission-critical product spanning application architecture, APIs, delivery systems, and supporting data workflows.
  • Built reusable screening infrastructure that later sped up delivery of the M&A screener across product and platform layers.
  • Built an internal Node.js CLI that distributed shared AI workflow assets through a versioned, governed distribution model across engineering.

Senior Software Engineer

KBRA

Aug 2018 - Feb 2024

  • Migrated large parts of a legacy product from Angular and PHP GraphQL toward Next.js and Apollo while moving delivery onto Docker and Terraform.
  • Owned search and data-system work, including a 5+ node Elasticsearch cluster and nightly ETL that has grown to process 70M+ records plus supplementary indexes.
  • Championed a delivery model shift to trunk-based development and feature flags while actively modernizing the product stack.

Lead Frontend Engineer

Klezma

May 2022 - May 2023

  • Served as the sole frontend engineer through MVP launch, owning the Next.js application architecture for a technically complex product.
  • Worked beyond the frontend by developing NestJS services and assisting with smart-contract implementation in Solidity.
  • Partnered closely with product to drive roadmap planning and translated product requirements into a scalable MVP.
  • Led the technical execution that resulted in winning NFTHack 2022, validating the core product hypothesis.

Earlier breadth

  • Software Developer / Lead Data Scientist, Assero Services
  • Software Developer, Visneta
  • Software Engineer, Blu Mediterranean Grill
  • Software Engineer, Underground Vape

Selected impact

  • Reduced KBRA release times from ~8 hours to ~5-minute deployments while modernizing the application and delivery stack behind active product work.
  • Built and maintained the search and data layer behind product features, including nightly ETL that now processes 70M+ records plus supplementary indexes.
  • Built an internal Node.js CLI that packaged AI workflow assets into a reusable distribution model for engineers across KBRA Technology.
  • Built a token-based design system that gave product teams a more reusable frontend foundation across 10+ teams and ~30 projects.
