Experience

Staff Software Engineer

KBRA

Feb 2024 - Present

  • Lead the engineering side of the enterprise design system, turning repeated UI decisions into a 4-layer token system and component foundation used by 10+ teams and ~30 projects.
  • Lead cross-team frontend platform work across shared UI systems and delivery patterns, helping reduce repeated implementation decisions for multiple product teams.
  • Architected reusable screening patterns that reduced repeated implementation work as new screening experiences were added.
  • Engineered an internal CLI that packaged shared AI workflow assets into a versioned distribution model, reducing setup friction and improving reuse across engineering.

Senior Software Engineer

KBRA

Aug 2018 - Feb 2024

  • Developed and maintained KBRA's React-based design system and component library, shipping 220+ releases over 3 years to streamline organization-wide UI delivery.
  • Modernized legacy frontend architecture from Angular toward Next.js while helping align the supporting application stack around Apollo, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Championed trunk-based development and feature flags to reduce delivery friction and make frontend releases materially faster and safer.

Lead Frontend Engineer

Klezma

May 2022 - May 2023

  • Served as the sole frontend engineer through MVP launch, owning the end-to-end Next.js architecture and foundational UI system for a complex product experience.
  • Partnered closely with product to drive roadmap planning and translated product requirements into a scalable MVP.
  • Led the frontend and product execution that resulted in winning NFTHack 2022, validating the product's quality and usability.

Earlier breadth

  • Software Developer / Lead Data Scientist, Assero Services
  • Software Developer, Visneta
  • Software Engineer, Blu Mediterranean Grill
  • Software Engineer, Underground Vape

Selected impact

  • Architected a 4-layer token system and shared UI foundation that turned repeated interface decisions into reusable delivery infrastructure across 10+ teams and ~30 projects.
  • Helped turn release delivery into a faster, lower-friction path for frontend teams by reducing KBRA release time from ~8 hours of coordination to ~5-minute trunk-based deployments.
  • Architected reusable screening patterns that reduced repeated frontend and product implementation work for new screening experiences.
  • Built an internal CLI that standardized shared AI workflow assets and reduced setup friction for engineers adopting common tooling patterns.
